Restaurant Training and Empowerment Program

A client-focused, innovative, and collaborative partnership between PATH Employment Services, Ontario Tourism Education Corporation (OTEC), Mohawk College Enterprise, and the Canadian Mental Health Association – Hamilton (CMHA). This program includes 5 main components:

  • On-the-job Work Experience
  • Training and Certifications
  • Mental Health Support
  • Employability Skills
  • Life Skills

6 week PAID program includes 4 weeks of in-class training and 2 weeks of work experience!

With training and certification in:

  • Food Handling
  • EMERIT NOC Certified Line Cook training
  • Smart Serve
  • CUSTOMER Service Excellence
  • AODA
  • WHMIS
  • Disinfect Right
  • Health & Safety Awareness
  • First Aid/CPR
  • AND life, job search, and employability skills!
