  • To choose which PATH  program they would like to participate in
  • To work with a knowledgeable and qualified   Employment Coordinator.
  • To develop a mutually agreed upon employment action plan.

PATH’s Employment Resource Centre is a hub of employment and community information. Members who access our Employment Resource Centre will find FREE access to:

  • Computers with word/data processing software
  • Internet search engines and job sites
  • Typing practice software
  • Career cruising software
  • Accessibility software
  • Fax machine
  • Copier
  • Telephone
  • Pamphlets and flyers on community programs

One on One Employment Assistance

PATH’s Employment Counselling and Placement Services (ECPS) offers One on One Employment assistance

Our employment coordinators are equipped with cutting edge knowledge and tools to assist members in creating innovative and successful employment action plans. The following are examples of services that could be included in the mutually agreed upon Employment action plan:

  • Exploring training and/or work goals
  • Identification and exploration of possible barriers to employment
  • Participation in career and skill assessments
  • Assistance with the development of effective job search techniques
  • Strategies for including conducting an organized job search
  • Development of tools to create effective resumes and cover letters
  • Provide referral to appropriate PATH workshops
  • Customized marketing to local employers
  • Follow up support after job placement to ensure the job is retained

360 [4] Youth Program

360 [4] Youth is an employment training and placement program for youth aged 15-30 and includes:

8 weeks of training in Digital Media, Social Media Marketing, Video and Photo Editing Software, Google Suite Certification, Canva, Tik Tok, Instagram, FB, and Twitter, Assertive Communication, Collaboration, Time Management, Job Search, Presentation skills, Smart Serve, WHMIS, and AODA.

With a 12-week subsidized and supported work placement!
